Are you interested in taking advantage of Pinterest as one of your small business' social media marketing tools? If you're already there, terrific. If not, you've got a lot of catching up to do!
Hands down, Pinterest is one of my favorite content sharing services of all time. It's a great place for visual people to share their favorite things and discover new events, interests and hobbies. Also, the latest feature allows users to create place pinboards that prove to be very handy when planning a vacation, creating a city guide, or saving your must-see spots for your future world traveling endeavors.

Speaking of place boards, this feature releases a world of opportunities for small businesses located all throughout the world. For example, small businesses can leverage place boards as city tour guides to bring new customers to the area and hopefully into their own store(s).

There is where posture, smiling, eye contact and speech slowly come into play. Just the simple act of pulling your shoulders back give others the impression that you are a confident person. Smiling will not only make you feel better, but will make other feel more comfortable around you. Imagine a person with good posture and a smile and you'll be envisioning someone who is self-confident.

Look at the person you are speaking to, not at your shoes--keeping eye contact shows confidence. Last, speak slowly. Research has proved that those who take the time to speak slowly and clearly feel more self-confidence and appear more self-confident to others. Make sure to add all to your upcoming events, blog posts, and everything else you decide to do with your business calendar.
